Merri, I so admire you and your magical words that touch my heart and so many others! I still work with the 15 minute rule leading up to Pesach. May you continue to inspire ad 120.
Always enjoying reading your musings - reviews- ideas .. 15minute rule is way to go.. I just heard of someone who sets up very makeshift pesach area - table in basement and does advance cooking with three crock pots .. not bad idea to consider.. enjoy the ride !
The post is incredibly inspiring, and the links are wonderful too.
Thanks for this.
Your "wasn't nailed down" story reminds me of the time my family went to eat at the casual restaurant my mother waitressed at. My brother picks up a fork and says, "Mom, this is just like the ones we have at home!" Apparently it had just been easier for her to put stray silverware in her uniform pocket than to search out a bus tray. As a result, we had more silverware in our house than a family of five would ever need!
Oh no! I put Bono’s book on hold at the library after reading your last newsletter. (Also, I’m a diehard fan.) My teenage mind was blown when I learned the song “40” was a reference to Psalm 40.
Let all who make Pesach come and read.
